Vizianagaram: Telugu Desam leaders, who are about to move to Ramateertham and hold an agitation on assaults on temples are kept under house arrest in Vizianagaram district. Actually N.Chandrababu Naidu, chief of Telugu Desam party is scheduled to visit Ramateertham village of Nellimarla mandal of Vizianagaram district where the idol of Srirama was disfigured recently and the head was separated, dumped in the lake besides the Kodandaram Rama temple. Chandrababu Naidu has planned to visit the village and see the temple premices today.

Meanwhile the TDP leaders in huge number have started moving to Ramateertham. The government felt that it would create nuisance and ignite unwanted things here and as a precautionary steps, the leaders are kept under house arrest. By the time the leaders wakeup the police force has surrounded the homes of leaders and restrained them from stepping out of their homes.

Karrothu Narasinga Rao, town president , IVP Raju are kept under house arrest.Even police force us deployed at the bungalow of senior leader P.Ashok Gajapathi Raju. On the other side Member of Rajya sabha V.Vijay Sai Reddy is scheduled to visit Ramateertham temple by 11 AM today.
