Guntur: TDP MLAs Dhulipala Narendra Kumar (Ponnur), Kommalapati Sridhar (Pedakurapadu) and G V Anjaneyulu (Vinukonda) launched election campaign in their respective Assembly constituencies on Wednesday. Dhulipala Narendra Kumar, who is representing Ponnur Assembly constituency for the last 25-years, is contesting 6th time from the same constituency. His father Dhulipala Veeraiah Chowdary represented the same constituency and worked as minister.
The senior MLA performed puja at Lord Vinayaka temple in Mamillapalli temple under Ponnur mandal and launched election campaign. Speaking on the occasion, he said that in order to continue welfare schemes for SC, ST, BC, Minorities, there was strong need to elect the TDP-led government. He appealed to voters to elect him with majority to continue development works and welfare schemes of TDP.
Vinukonda MLA G V Anjaneuyulu performed puja at Gunti Anjaneya Swamy temple in Vinukonda on Wednesday and launched election campaign. He is contesting third time from the same constituency. Speaking on the occasion, he said that with the cooperation of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, he brought Rs 2,000 crore funds for the development of Assembly constituency and executed many development works in the constituency.
He reminded that he had taken steps to develop horticulture hub in the constituency and to get more income to the farmers. He reminded the welfare schemes like Annadata Sukhi Bhava implemented by the government for the welfare of farmers and asked the voters to support TDP in the coming elections.
Meanwhile Pedakurapadu MLA Kommalapati Sridhar performed pujas at Venkateswara Swamy temple at Vaikuntapuram and launched election campaign. He is contesting third time from Pedakurapadu Assembly constituency.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that welfare schemes being introduced by the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu benefited all sections of the people and urged the voters to vote in favour of TDP in the coming elections. He briefed about the development works executed during this tenure in the constituency.
