Krishna district TDP president Bachhula Arjunudu, former ministers Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, Kollu Ravindra and former MLA Bonda Uma submitted a memorandum to the Police Commissioner in this regard.

Besides, the Krishna District TDP Coordination Committee meeting called upon the rank and file of the party to make Chandrababu Naidu's deeksha a grand success. The committee conducted a meeting with the members here on Thursday and demanded the government to pay Rs 25 lakh compensation for those building workers who committed suicide. They said that the leaders of the YSR Congress were illegally transporting the sand to other states with the connivance of officials and minting money.
