Teachers turn to government schools for their own kids
Exuding confidence in quality of education imparted in government schools, a few teachers of government schools took first step of admitting their own children in government schools.
Bhimavaram: Exuding confidence in quality of education imparted in government schools, a few teachers of government schools took first step of admitting their own children in government schools. They set an example for others to follow towards further strengthening of government school education in Veeravasaram mandal.
Teacher Kollati Maharaj admitted his sons in Rayakuduru Primary School. Another teacher Jaddu Rajasekhar shifted his daughter from private school to government school. He admitted her in MRK ZP High School in Veeravasaram. Teacher K Acharyulu followed suit as he joined his son in Rayakuduru ZP High School.
Same is the case with Devireddi Pullarao who admitted his son and daughter in Rayakuduru high school. The craze for government schools never stopped there. Relangi High School teacher Yalla Venkateswararao believed in government school teaching quality as he persuaded his son take admission in his school. Going by the increasing popularity for government schools, Palakoderu mandal parishad president Veeravalli Venkata Lakshmi helped her daughter join in Veeravasaram ZP High School.
The trend for government schools is rooted from their superb performance in SSC results. "Government schools are far better than private ones. Appointed teachers will teach all the subjects. I'm happy to admit my son and daughter in government school," said teacher Devireddi Pullarao.
Teacher Yalla Venkateswararao said that government schools have infrastructure. Before preaching anything, we must practice. I'm encouraging my children study in government school as first step in this regard.
The education system is good in government schools compared with private schools, he opined. Mandal MEO B Vinayakudu appreciated government employees and people's representatives who admitted their children in government schools.
