Three die, 2 hurt as two bikes collide
Three persons were killed and two others sustained injuries when two bikes collided at Peda Kalava under Rentachintala mandal of Guntur district on Sunday.
Guntur: Three persons were killed and two others sustained injuries when two bikes collided at Peda Kalava under Rentachintala mandal of Guntur district on Sunday.
According to police, Kavuri Devi (48) and her son Kavuri Ajay (25) were returning from Pasarlapadu village on the bike. When their bike reached Rentachintala, three others Jonnalagadda Kotaiah, Kodimeti Prasad and Ramavat Gopi Naik were coming in another bike at a high speed in the opposite direction and crashed into their their bike.
Kavuri Devi and her son Ajay who were seriously injured, died on the spot. Jonnalagadda Kotaiah (18) died while being shifted to the Gurazala government hospital for treatment.
Kodimeti Prasad and Gopi Naik who sustained injuries are undergoing treatment in the Gurazala Government Hospital. Jonnalagadda Kotaiah belonged to T-State. Rentachintala police registered a case and took up investigation.
