Tirupati : TTD EO A V Dharma Reddy on Thursday directed the IT wing officials of TTD to develop the Parakamani Management System app exclusively to carry out the validation of foreign currency, offered by the devotees in the temple Hundi.

Reviewing the Parakamani (sorting and counting process of the Hundi offerings including cash and kind) activities with the Deputy EO Parakamani and Bank officials representing various banks at Sri Padmavathi Rest House in Tirupati, the EO directed the concerned to ensure adequate arrangements to lift the pending currency notes and coins on a fast pace to avoid accumulation of them.

The EO also directed the IT General Manager Sandeep Reddy to develop an exclusive Parakamani Management System Application for the clearance of foreign currency and handing them over to the SBI in a transparent manner as per the guidelines of MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs).

Later the EO also instructed the officials to clear the pending soiled notes and asked the respective bankers to make arrangements to lift them without any delay.

Earlier a review meeting on laddu counters also took place along with the bankers. Apart from the existing 30 counters which are being sponsored by various banks, the EO asked the bankers to sponsor the remaining 24 counters located near Tirumala temple from where the devotees avail laddu prasadam.

JEO for Health and Education Sada Bhargavi, CEO SVBC Shanmukh Kumar, FACAO Balaji, Additional FACAO Raviprasadu, Sesha Sailendra, DyEOs Rajendra Kumar, Lokanatham and others were present.
