Tirupati: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has felicitated the frontline health warriors at SVIMS – Sri Padmavati state Covid hospital on Wednesday. IMA Tirupati branch president Dr P Raviraju, secretary Dr Yugandhar, treasurer Dr Madhusudan and Walkers Association International Governor Krishna Prasad have felicitated SVIMS Director Dr B Vengamma on the occasion.
The team consists of Dr Alladi Mohan, Dr Ram, Dr Usha Kalawat, Dr Alok Samntha Ray, Dr Sridhar Babu, Dr Koti Reddy, Dr Chandra Sekhar, Dr Bhargav and others who have been extending services to coronavirus patients were also felicitated.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Vengamma said that so far more than 23,000 covid confirmatory tests were conducted at SVIMS. Till now, 255 Covid patients were admitted in the state Covid hospital, of which 95 are cured and discharged.
