Tirupati: As part of preparations for post-lockdown scenario, TTD engineering wing began making changes in queue complex in accordance to social distancing norms. Generally, darshan queue lines start from Vikuntam queue complexes 1 and 2 and go through temple Mahadwaram. Now, the engineering department is making seating arrangements with two metre distance. Similarly, hand wash arrangements are being made at all the existing toilets. All the devotees will have to wash their hands and foot at washrooms at queue line complexes once the darshan resumes.

TTD officials are going to install washbasins along with hand wash liquids extensively across the hill shrine at all the important public places like Kalyanakatta, Annadanam complex, Four Mada Streets, Asthana Mandapam, Kalyana Vedika and central reception office (CRO).

The engineering staff began drawing lines and circles with paint for ensuring physical distance among devotees during the darshan time. The same arrangements will be made at KalyanaKatta where the devotees will get their head tonsured. In Annadanam complex too, arrangements are being made to ensure social distance.

Similarly, TTD is planning to purchase masks , sanitisers on a large scale to provide to on-duty staff who will be discharged duties inside the Tirumala temple
