Toxicity leads to death of 103 cows in Tadepalli Gosala
The Additional Director of Animal Husbandry Department, Dr. Damodar Naidu has stated the preliminary inquiry has found that the toxicity is the cause of the death of 103 cows in gosala at Kotturu in Tadepalli.
Vijayawada: The Additional Director of Animal Husbandry Department, Dr. Damodar Naidu has stated the preliminary inquiry has found that the toxicity is the cause of the death of 103 cows in gosala at Kotturu in Tadepalli.
He also said a team of officials have visited the gosala and personally examined the cows on Sunday. It is suspected that toxicity is present in the fodder. He added that at present, all the remaining cows are healthy at gosala.
Damodar Naidu said the postmortem report of the dead cows is expected to come on Tuesday. The samples collected in gosala were also sent to the Forensic Laboratories and will get the report within a week. He clarified that there is no fact in poisoning the fodder and complete details will be revealed once the report is out.
