Tirupati: TTD Trust Board Meeting was held at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala under the Chairmanship of TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy at Annamayya Bhavan on Saturday. The meeting board took many important decisions over Tirumala temple alteration works and Vaikunta Ekadasi arrangements.
In this regard addressing the media Chairman YV SubbaReddy said that the board has given nod to fix golden doors at Srivari temple Mahadwaram as well as for gold plating work on Dwajasthambam and to make Suryaprabha Vahanam with 11 kg gold for Goddess Padmavathi at Tiruchanur temple.
He stated that TTD has decided to open Srivari temple Vaikunta Dwaram for 10 days from Vaikunta Ekadasi On December 25 (2020) to January 3 (2021) to provide darshan to devotees on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi. " TTD took this decision on the recommendation of a committee report which was formed on the instructions of AP High Court after wide consultation with Matadhipathis and Pitadhipathis committee recommended to open Vaikunta Dwaram for 10 days", Said YV SubbaReddy.
" TTD board has given a green signal to release white paper on its properties shortly, in the white paper we will disclose the details of properties which were given by devotees to TTD. Across the country, TTD has total 1128 properties to the extent of 8088 acres" The Chairman told. He added that the TTD board formed a committee on how to utilise its properties across the Country.
Chairman stressed that as far as providing health facilities to TTD employees board is permitted to implement EHS only, on this issue officials will create awareness among the employees. As part of eco-friendly practices at Tirumala shortly we can introduce 100 to 150 electrical buses for devotees transportation, he mentioned.
Further, he disclosed the details of a few more decisions: TTD is going to take up renovation works of GaliGopuram on Alipiri footpath and renovation works of SNC and ANC cottages in Tirumala at cost of Rs 29 crores. As well as TTD will do Dharma Pracharam through its Rathams widely in two Telugu States. One more important decision is that TTD will resume the Kalyanamasthu Programme again in all the district headquarters in Andhra Pradesh State.
Finally he said that TTD is not interested to implement Ananda Nilayam Anatha Swarnamyam Project, if devotees are not willing to use this gold for other activities of TTD, they can take back their gold which they had donated earlier ". And the Chairman confirmed that TTD would deposit its money only in Banks.
TTD will construct additional hostels at Tirupati Balamandir at a cost of Rs 10 crores and would release funds for Tirupati Garuda Varadhi flyover construction in next financial year, YV SubbaReddy told.
Chairman informed that TTD board member Kumar Guru donated 4 acres site and Rs 10 crores for Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple construction at Ullanduru village in TamilaNadu State.
TTD Ex-officio including TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy, TUDA Chairman and Ex-officio member Dr C Bhaskar Reddy, TTD board members Murali Krishna, Kumarguru, special invitees B Karunakar Reddy, AJ Sekhar have participated in the meeting.
