Two women found murdered at revenue division in East Godavari
Two women found murdered in revenue division headquarters at Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari, about 32 kilometres from Kakinada, on early hours of Sunday
Two women found murdered in revenue division headquarters at Ramachandrapuram in East Godavari, about 32 kilometres from Kakinada, on early hours of Sunday.
The deceased belong to the same family and were identified as Balusu Madhavi(45) and her daughter, Balusu Karuna(18).
According to East Godavari SP Adanan Nayeem Asmi, who is on the spot in Ramachandrapuram, the two died of head injuries, and a hammer was used to hit them on the head. The weapon was found at the place of the offense.
"We suspect some family dispute behind the murder. The police is investigating the case and the son and the husband of Madhavi are under investigation. As the family members are daily wage earners, we are not suspecting property issue as the motive for the murder," the SP said on Sunday afternoon.
