Vijayawada: Indian Dalit Christian Rights Association president P Varaprasad Rao demanded that the government take stern action against the culprits involved in the attacks on temples in the State.
Addressing the members of the Rights Association on Wednesday, he strongly condemned the incidents of the attacks on temples and places of worship in the State in recent months. He alleged that there is a political motive behind the attacks on the temples.
He further alleged that Telugu Desam Party national president Chandrababu Naidu is behind the attacks, and added that the Opposition parties are trying to defame the YSRCP government.
He said the BJP, Jana Sena and TDP are targeting the YSRCP government. He also demanded that the Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay to tender apology for making comments against Christians.
