Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Non Gazetted Officers Association state president N Chandrasekhar Reddy said the sports will give relief to reduce the stress among the women employees.
Chandrasekhar Reddy inaugurated the sports and games for the women employees working in various government departments at the IGMC stadium on Tuesday. Addressing on the occasion, he said women face lot of stress due to the job and domestic work in their homes.
He underlined the need to spend some time every day for sports and games to reduce the stress and get relief from the daily life. He said the State government was always striving for the welfare of the women and reminded Disha Act as a good step in protecting women.
APNGOs Western Krishna president A Vidya Sagar has said the NGOs association was committed for the welfare of the employees in addition to the regular work in addressing the problems of the employees.
APNGOs women's wing state president V Nirmala Kumar said sports and games events like tug of war, 100 metres speed walk, shuttle, music chair, Antyakshari and other events were organised to mark the occasion. She said some mothers will be felicitated on March 11 to mark the Women's Day at the APNGOs association hall.
