Visakha Manyam: Villager Burnt A Man Alive Citing Him As Exorcist
A man was brutally assaulted and killed in Puttubanda village of Dumbrigadda mandal in Visakah Manyam.
A man was brutally assaulted and killed in Puttubanda village of Dumbrigadda mandal in Visakah Manyam. the tribals in the Manyam have been severely beaten up with sticks and rods before he was burnt alive in the broad day light on Wednesday. Going into the details Jayaram 54 who was residing in the village with his wife and a daughter is labour by profession is cited as exorcist who s doing evil things in the village.
The villagers planned to kill him with the fear of his exorcism skills. in the process , the village heads have called him for a meeting at panchayat office. however by the time the deceased reached the office there were no one in the scene. Jayaram left the place to home.
The brutal killing happened at around 4 pm when the villagers and head have pulled Jayaram from his house and beaten up and burnt alive in front of his wife and daughter. The deceased wife and daughter have fled from the village sensing that they would be also killed.
