Vizianagaram: Six members of faculty presently working in MVGR College of Engineering from different departments were awarded doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) from Andhra University. The details of the awardees are given below.

2. Dr G.V. Siva Kumar Reddy: Department of Chemical Engineering

Ph.D Thesis Title : "wall to bed mass transfer in fluidised beds with coaxially placed string of hemispheres"

3. Dr.Palavalasa Srinivasa Rao: Dept. Of IT

Ph.D Title: 'some studies related to rooting information protocol in mobile ad hoc networks'

4. Dr.Sudheer Ponnada: Department of Civil Engineering

Ph.D thesis title:"microstructural study on hybrid mortar synthesis made with quarry dust, fly ash and epoxy resin under different environmental conditions"

5. Dr. Minchula Vinodh Kumar: Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Ph.D thesis Title: "development of adaptive and optimal capacity improvement algorithms for next generation (5g) networks under sac environments"

6. Dr. Lavanya Vadda: Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Ph.D thesis Title: "3g/4g wireless mobile channel modeling for indian urban canyons and its performance analysis"
