Voter awareness marathon held
As many as 2000 students of Rajiv Gandhi University if Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) participated in the voter awareness marathon (walk) here on Sunday.
Nuzvid: As many as 2000 students of Rajiv Gandhi University if Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) participated in the voter awareness marathon (walk) here on Sunday.The marathon started from the IIIT Nuzvid campus ended at the Srinivas centre. The students displayed banners, placards and raised slogans on casting vote and the importance of the vote.
The marathon was flagged off by Sub-Collector Swapnil Dinakar, IIIT Nuzvid director Prof D Suryachandra Rao and IIIT Srikakulam Prof Harisriramulu. The marathon was held as part of the 'Cygnus 2019' annual day programme which is scheduled on April 6 and 7 organised jointly by IIIT Nuzvid and IIIT Srikakulam. Administration officers Sinil Bhagat, Maithili, Nuzvid Sub-Inspector Ranjith Kumar, professors, faculty, students of both IIITs participated in the marathon.
