Kandukur: The students should not fall prey to the temptations offered by the political parties and should utilise their right to vote actively, said the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation Prakasam district manager Sk Meeravali.

He organised the SVEEP Voter Awareness Programme in the Prakasam Engineering College in Kandukur and made the students take oath in favour of their participation in the voting process.

Meeravali created awareness on the procedure to vote in the election to the engineering students in the college. He suggested them to choose their leader irrespective of the caste and creed but the ability to serve the society. He thanked the college secretary and correspondent Kancharla Ramaiah and Treasurer Kancharla Srikanth for the opportunity to organise the programme in the college.

The college principal Dr M Lakshmana Rao, APSSDC coordinators B Srinivas, Sk Sadik, college skill development coordinator M Gurubrahmam and other staff also participated with the students.
