Guntur: District Collector I Samuel Anand Kumar said that it was the responsibility of journalists to conduct campaign about welfare schemes being introduced by the government to the people.
He inaugurated a workshop for journalists conducted by the Press Information Bureau (Vijayawada) here on Thursday. Speaking on this occasion, he urged the journalists to highlight the news relating to development.
Press Information Bureau Additional DG D Murali Mohan suggested that the rural journalists should improve their skill and they have responsibility to give right information.
He assured that he would try to solve problems of the rural journalists. Rythu Nestam editor Yadlapalli Venkateswara Rao and several rural journalists were present.
