Yet another employee tests positive for Coronavirus in Andhra secretariat

Andhra Pradesh: As the Coronavirus is taking toll on the people, there is yet another disturbing news where an employee in the General Administration Department at Andhra Pradesh secretariat is diagnosed with Coronavirus positive on Wednesday. The employee is reportedly working as a data entry operator. On the other hand, the employees are concerned about their colleague being diagnosed with COVID-19.

An employee of the Department of Agriculture reported coronavirus a week ago. In this backdrop, employees of the department have been ordered to work from home. Similarly, the trade unions are also appealing to the government to implement the Work From Home to other employees in the Secretariat.

Meanwhile, 98 new cases have been registered in the state in last 24 hours. The total number of deaths due to Kovid so far is 71 while the total number of cases recovered and discharged after receiving treatment at various hospitals has reached 2,273. There are currently 1033 patients receiving treatment in various covid hospitals.
