Amaravati: YSRC Party Parliament member Vijayasai Reddy complained to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and requested to refer it to the Privileges Committee on publishing false stories in Andhra Jyothi and Eenadu Telugu dailies.

Speaking to The Hans India, he said that he gave the complaint to the Speaker, but refused to reveal the content in it.

Sources in the YSRCP informed that in the complaint given to the Speaker and Privileges Committee, Vijayasai Reddy requested to take appropriate actions against the reporters who have written in a discriminate way that he (Vijayasai Reddy) was questioned in the All-party meeting. He also requested to cancel the entry passes of those reporters to the Parliament.

He said that the story has been published without any journalism ethics and the reporters have not sought any explanation from him.

'False information is being published to tamper my dignity and status,' he said.

He said that false information on the all-party meeting has been published and that not only damages his reputation but also the Parliament system.

He requested the speaker to take stringent actions against the reporters who filed the story.
