While the farmer's protests and concerns over the shifting of the secretariat from Amaravati continue for the 45th day, the YSRCP has received a shock from its Member of parliament who participated in the agitation in solidarity to the farmers of the capital region. Earlier it was only TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP who supported the protest. Now with the ruling party leader expressing his solidarity to farmers have raised everybody's eyebrows.

The Narsaraopet MP Laavu Sri Krishnadevaraya surprised everyone at the farmers' protest on Friday. He sat down with the locals and addressed the farmers. But when the MP was addressing, the farmers raised a slogan in support of the Amaravati and blocked his speech. They demanded the government to hold talks with farmers only after announcing the Amaravati as capital.

However, the MP pacified them and said that the committee would soon visit the capital region to hear their concerns. He assured the farmers that CM Jagan knows the problems of the farmers, and he would definitely do justice to them.
