Zoo records highest visitors in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam: As a part of 'Karthika Masam,' picnickers thronged Indira Gandhi Zoological Park (IGZP) on Sunday. According to zoo curator R Yesoda Bai, IGZP registered 22,306 visitors, the highest recorded in the year.

She further said the revenue generated was Rs 10.03 lakh. The zoo turned into most sought-after destination for many families who headed to the spot with their little ones and spend their family-time, indulging in 'vana-bhojanam'.
