Hyderabad: The Forum of Women in Public Sector (WIPS) has announced its award to NHPC Ltd. India's premier hydropower company has been conferred with 'Recognition of WIPS Activities Award,' for its contribution to public enterprise management under Mini Ratna and other categories.
The award has been given to NHPC in recognition of its commendable work done for the development of women in NHPC. NK Jain, Director (Personnel), NHPC, along with other senior women officers and employees received the award during the 30th national meet of WIPs held in Hyderabad on Tuesday. NK Jain also took part in the panel discussion on 'Power of Decision making and commitments' during the event.
Savitri Srivastav, Executive Director (IT&C), NHPC, was also conferred with the 'Best Women Employee Award -Executive category'.
