Senior Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away.

Senior Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away. She was 71. She had been recently admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after suffering breathing issues.

The ace choreographer's final rites will be performance at Malvani in Malad, as per family sources. She breathed her last at the Guru Nanak Hospital in Mumbai where she had been kept in an ICU. Doctors said Saroj Khan suffered cardiac arrest.

Saroj Khan holds the credit for choreographing some of the best songs in Bollywood numbering around 2000. She had been a well known dance director for over 20 years now.

A recipient of National Award thrice, some of the most notable songs of Sarok Khan include Madhuri Dixit's famous Ek Do Teen song from Tezaab, Aishwarya's Dole Re from Devdas and Kareena's Yeh Ishq hate song from Jab We Met.

Saroj Khan became an overnight sensation after she choreographed Sridevi's famous Mr India number Hawa Hawai.
