Dhanush To Play Dual Role In Asuran

Superstar Dhanush is busy with his forthcoming drama Asuran and now the news is viral that the actor will be seen in Dual role in the film.

In Asuran, Dhanush will be seen playing a dual role, both as dad and son. Set in the backdrop of 60s and 80s, Dhanush sports a matured look of a forty-five-year-old rugged rural man in the film.

Based on Poomani's Vekkai novel, Asuran also has Manju Warrier, Pasupathy, Balaji Shakthivel, Karunas' son Ken and Pawan in pivotal characters.

Produced by Thanu's V Creations, GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for Asuran and Velraj is cranking the camera.

The film's director Vetrimaaran also confirmed that he will soon begin shooting for the sequel of Vada Chennai and the pre-production work is on.

Dhanush has finished shooting for major portions in Asuran and he is currently busy with the untitled film of RS Durai Senthilkumar of Kodi fame.
