Priyanka Chopra's 20 Years In Entertainment: Her Journey From Miss World To Global Actress

Priyanka Chopra… From little daddy's girl to global diva, her journey is incredible and inspiring!!! She achieved it with all her hard work and ace acting skills. It is just not a bed of roses, she had to see many ups and downs but bounced back when she was falling down and smiled heartfully when she witnessed blockbusters. PeeCee was just 17 years old when she was crowned Miss World and it all happened in 2000 making our Indian diva adorn the title with much proud.

Priyanka describes herself as a self-made woman and credits her mother Madhu Chopra and late father Ashok Chopra for upbringing her with great values. It all started with 2002 Tamil film Thamizhan which made Priyanka debut in the Indian Film Industry. Although she expected getting debuted in Bollywood, but a Tamil movie made her step into this glam world. Next in 2003, The Hero: Love Story of a Spy movie made her debut in Bollywood. Then Andaaz movie gave her the much-needed break and from then there was no looking back.

Be it Saath Khoon Maaf, Krish, Don, Fashion, Dostana, Kaminey Barfi… These all movie made her the ace heroine in Bollywood and made the audience witness the versatile acting skills of this global diva.

With Gunday, Mary Kom and Bajirao Mastani, she reached the next level and then rose to Hollywood with 'Quantico'. Then the movies like Baywatch turned her into the global star.

She married the Hollywood pop star Nick Jonas who and is staying happily with her family. During this lockdown time, she is missing her mother and brother as she is stuck in LA.

Well, she is an actor, producer and especially an outsider to carved a niche for herself making the whole world turn heads with her success. Priyanka's association with UNICEF for social work also describes her social responsibility and shows off Priyanka's humble heart.

Well, on the occasion of Priyanka's 20 years in Entertainment Industry, she shared an awesome video on her Instagram page which describes her journey as an 'Outsider with no connections in Bollywood' to a 'Global star'.

This video reminisces her journey from Miss World to global diva. Be it receiving awards to her interviews and talk shows or working as an UNICEF ambassador, it is all about her successful journey as an actor, producer and social activist.
