South Indian actor R Badree has been roped in to portray the character of Sunil Valson in the upcoming movie '83 which has been directed by Kabir Khan. The film is based on India's win in the historic 1983 World Cup.
All the actors in the movie will be reprising the members of the Indian cricket team who won the World Cup back in the year 1983.
The film stars Ranveer Singh,Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi,Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem,and Chirag Patil, reprising the India national cricket team that won the 1983 Cricket World Cup as the film is based on India's win in 1983 Cricket World Cup.
Ranveer Singh will be portraying the character of Kapil Dev in the movie, Tahir Raj Bhasin will be playing Sunil Gavaskar, Saqib Saleem will be playing Mohinder Amarnath and so on the other actors will be playing the other players of the 1983 team.
The release date of the movie has been decided as April 10, 2020.
