Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan had forayed into the film industry with Akhil's Hello. Though the film didn't perform well, that didn't stop her from getting a string of offers.
Actress Kalyani Priyadarshan had forayed into the film industry with Akhil's Hello. Though the film didn't perform well, that didn't stop her from getting a string of offers. Currently, in Telugu, she is working for Sai Dharam Tej's Chitralahari and Sharwanand's untitled film with Sudheer Varma.
She has been getting some good offers down in Tamil as well as she signed two films there, Vaan and Hero. Now, we hear that she is being considered for the female lead role in Simbu's upcoming film, Maanadu, which will be directed by Venkat Prabhu. This project has been announced long back but was on hold till now.
Both Simbu and Venkat Prabhu are planning to take the film onto the floors very soon. An official confirmation about Kalyan's inclusion might be made soon. Meanwhile, Kalyani is also acting in Malayalam period drama, Marakkar, which is being directed by her father Priyadarshan.
