Tamil star actor Kamal Haasan and visionary director Shankar have teamed up after two and half decades for the film Indian 2. This is the sequel for the 1995 film of the same name.
Tamil star actor Kamal Haasan and visionary director Shankar have teamed up after two and half decades for the film Indian 2. This is the sequel for the 1995 film of the same name. The shooting of this film is now happening at a rapid pace in the surroundings of Chennai.
Meanwhile, the latest Kollywood buzz suggests that the film will feature Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor as the negative lead. This speculation was raised as Anil was seen with Shankar on the sets of Indian 2 recently. Earlier, Shankar planned to rope in Ajay Devgn to play an important role in the film. But the actor moved out due to schedule issues.
Later, Akshay Kumar was approached but even he couldn't accommodate dates for the film. We hear that finally Shankar managed to sign up Anil for the movie. An official announcement on Anil's inclusion is expected to be made soon. Indian 2 features Siddharth, Rakul and Kajal in the other important roles.
