Dhanush Replaces Karthi In Selvaraghavan's Aayirathil Oruvan 2
A Tamil movie titled "Aayirathil Oruvan" in which Late Kollywood actor MGR had worked with Jayalalitha was a hit movie during the late sixties.
A Tamil movie titled "Aayirathil Oruvan" in which Late Kollywood actor MGR had worked with Jayalalitha was a hit movie during the late sixties. Later in 2010, a movie with the same name was released with Karthi in the lead role which was well received by the cine buffs.
Karthi shot to limelight through this movie. The movie which got dubbed into Telugu as 'Yuganiki Okkadu' became a hit with good reviews also. Now the team has decided to produce a sequel to this movie. Kollywood actor Dhanush's brother and director Selvaraghavan who helmed 'Aayirathil Oruvan', will be directing 'Aayirathil Oruvan' part 2".
In this movie Superstar Dhanush is said to be acting in place of Karthi. We hear that the pre-production work for this movie needs more than one year and also the team states that this sequel will be released only in 2024. Hence the preparations are not likely to commence anytime now.
But the poster of this movie has been released by director Selvaraghavan. In the earlier part, the protagonist Raja dies in the end. But in the sequel we hear that Raja will reappear. Currently Dhanush, is super busy and is on his toes to act in a Hollywood movie called 'The Grey Man' directed by Rosso brothers who has worked on several Hollywood projects like 'Avengers', 'Captain America', and ' Extraction'. Famous actors like Chris Evan, Ryan Gosling will be sharing screen space with Dhanush in this movie.
