Kaithi First Week Collections: Karthi Movie Steady At The Box Office
Karthi is on cloud nine. His latest movie Kaithi opened to fantastic response from the audience.
Karthi is on cloud nine. His latest movie Kaithi opened to fantastic response from the audience. Critics too have heaped praises on Karthi's performance in the movie. The film was directed by Lokesh Kangaraj and produced under the Dream Warrior pictures banner by Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu. Tiruppur Vivek co-produced Kaithi under Vivekananda pictures banner.
The Tamil action drama has received a lot of appreciation from the audience and fans alike. Karthi is known to choose a wide range of roles and each time he changes the genre. This time around too, the Tamil actor, also the brother of Kollywood star Suriya, is drawing crowds to theatres.
The film is doing fantastic business at the box office. Kaithi is fighting against Vijay's big ticket movie Bigil which released on Diwali. The sports drama too is battling it out at the box office.
Despite competition, Karthi's Kaithi is going steady at the box office. With regard to collections, Kaithi had collected 17 lakhs from Chennai City alone on Thursday. The first week collections of Kaithi is as per trade experts is said to be approximately Rs 2.14 crore.
It now remains to be seen if Karthi movie Kaithi can withstand the competition in the second week and stay strong till it enters third week.
