Renowned actor and director, R. Narayana Murthy extended his support to Ram Gopal Varma's film Lakshmi's NTR which is currently in trouble due to the censor board.
Renowned actor and director, R. Narayana Murthy extended his support to Ram Gopal Varma's film Lakshmi's NTR which is currently in trouble due to the censor board. Narayana Murthy spoke about the film when he attended the book launch of "Sridevi Katha," written by Pasupuleti Rama Rao.
"When one of my films is facing issues with censor board, I had to go to Mumbai. There Sridevi garu helped me in solving the issue and also instructed her PA to look after my stay. She said that she likes my revolutionary films and expressed the desire to act in them. She used to receive everyone with so much warmth," opined Narayana Murthy.
"She would be heartbroken if she witnesses how the censor board is working right now. How can they not censor a film if someone has put allegations on it? Is there no right for a filmmaker to express his views on politics? This is not the way how democracy works." he added.
