Raghu started off his career with the 2000 film Bachi. He sang 600 songs so far and also won five Nandi Awards. He is also a dubbing artist who gave voice to various actors on the screen. Some of his notable works as a music director are Aha Naa Pellanta, Daggaraga Dooram Ga, Devudu Chesina Manushulu, Ladies and Gentleman, Dongaata, Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu, Nayaki, Raagala 24 Gantallo and Palasa 1978.
Raghu Kunche acted in supporting roles in films like Adrustam and Holi. He played a prominent role in the recent release Palasa 1978. He essayed the role of an antagonist in this movie. Directed by Karuna Kumar, this film featured Rakshit in the lead role. The film brought a lot of acclaim to Raghu Kunche as an actor.
