Maharshi disappoints Ceded audience

Superstar Mahesh Babu scored a blockbuster with his recent outing Maharshi. The film which was released last week is performing extremely well across all the centres it has released in. The first week shares of Maharshi are expected to cross the figures made by Aravinda Sametha.
In Nizam alone, the film is set to cross Rs. 20 crore share in the first week, which is a very good record to achieve. But one area in which Maharshi failed to perform is the Ceded area. The rights of the Ceded area were sold for Rs. 12 crores for the distributor. The film was supposed to get a share of more than 12 crores to enter the profit zone.
But in its first week, Maharshi managed to collect only about Rs. 5.80 crores in the area. At this rate, the film will end up collecting Rs.8-9 crores in its total run. Thus, Maharshi is all set to become blockbuster in all the areas except Cede, where it might incur huge losses.
