Going by the trailer unveiled by the makers on Wednesday, reigning star Nani plays Arjun, a 36-year-old father, whose cricketing career failed to take off during his younger days.

But the former sportsman is confident: "I want to start from where I left ten years ago."
The film traces Arjun's journey and his relationship with his son, who inspires him to return to the game.
Written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film also stars Sathyaraj and Shraddha Srinath, who plays Sarah, Arjun's wife.
'Jersey' is a sports drama produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. Ace Tamil music director Anirudh Ravichander has composed music while the cinematography has been handled by Sanu Varghese and Naveen Nooli has edited the film.
Nani was last seen in 'Krishnarjuna Yuddham' and 'Devadas', but he is donning the role a cricketer for the first time in his career which already triggered a lot of expectations.
