Pooja Hegde is seen in village belle avatar in the first look unveiled by the makers on Sunday. Looks like it is one of the main get-ups she will be portraying in the movie that is being directed by Harish Shankar.
The first look took everyone by surprise since it is far away from her sexy siren avatar.
Pooja Hegde will be seen in the role of a movie actress in this dark comedy that is based on the Tamil hit 'Jigarthanda'.
Varun Tej is playing the lead role. He will be seen as a rowdy, who gets a chance to play the lead role in a film set up by a wannabe filmmaker played by Atharva Murali.
Varun Tej has newcomer Krishna Manjusha as the love interest. Produced by 14 Reels Plus, 'Valmiki' is set to release on September 13.
