Superstar Rajinikanth has been staying away from the shooting from the past few months during the coronavirus pandemic. After a long time, the actor has now decided to resume the shooting of his upcoming movie 'Annaathe'.
But considering the current situations and Rajinikanth's health condition, doctors have advised him not to step out of his house. So, the makers of 'Annatthe' also pushd the shooting of the movie to next year. The regular shooting of the movie will resume in February. The movie is gearing up for a grand release in summer 2021. Touted to be a village-based family entertainer, Shiva is helming this project. Meena, Kushboo, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh and Prakash Raj are playing crucial roles in this movie.
If everything goes well, the movie will hit the theatres in May 2021. Rajnikanth has reportedly slashed 20 crores remuneration because of the ongoing pandemic. Sun Pictures are bankrolling this project.
