Navkar Darshan, which has been winning accolades for rendering yeomen service across Telangana State by way of charity events for the past nine years added a new feather to its cap recently.

It embarked on yet another noble mission, which, the founders assure, will grow bigger in the days ahead.

Founded by Ms Kavita Jain, Navkar Darshan has conducted charity and fund raising events ranging from educational, kavi sammelan, and tambola to fashion shows.

In keeping with its quest to help the society in various spheres, Navkar Darshan conducted Saamuhik Vivah Sammelan in which four marriages were performed simultaneously and with all rituals.

The organizers did not just perform the marriages but helped the four happy couples with things required to set up a house.

They distributed clothes, blankets, cot, gold mangalsutra, silver payal, all worth Rs 1.75 lakh to each couple.

It was a wonderful sight when Pavan-Rekha, Rajkumar-Padmawati, Srihari-Sumlata and Srikant-Aamni went into wedlock and were blessed by honoured personalities like former Union Minister Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, MLC Shri Ramchander Rao, Ashok Bohra, Sampatra Kothari and Pradeep Surana.

"Although, this is the first such event that Navkar Darshan is organising, I can categorically assure you all that we will soon perform 108 marriages in one go," said Kavita Jain.
