A champion of fighting for marginalised section from the beginning, Subhashini entered politics by deciding to contest an MLA seat on a Lok Satta Party ticket from Khairatabad, Telangana, in 2009. Though she lost the election, her campaign of clean politics was covered by Wall Street Journal as the first female contestant from Khairatabad constituency.

International Visits

Subhashini participated in various international events. She was one of the 90 global representatives who were invited as political observers to 44th US presidential election in 2008. She also took part in an international workshop at Germany, as South Asian Representative, on the topic, 'Politics and Civil Society' organised by Friedrich Naumann Foundation in 2008. Also, she has represented India on various events on women entrepreneurship held in countries like Sri Lanka, US, Singapore and Malaysia etc.

Social Activities

Being an alumni member of US consulate Hyderabad, she supports various social activities. Subhashini, was chief of the Andhra Pradesh chapter of Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE), an organisation working towards empowerment of women by supporting in all the phases of entrepreneurship. She took up activities like lifestyle expos, skill developments for thousands of women, seminars on various entrepreneurship phases, infrastructure facilities like land for entities, supplying sanitary pad machines and incinerators at various government girl schools etc,.

Subhashini worked on issues like NRI voting rights, anti-corruption governance, women reservation bill etc. after studying various global practices while working in Loksatta Party.

Subhashini also headed Sujana Foundation, a CSR of Sujana Group and organised activities like awarding medals and certificates to students with outstanding academic performances, to promote education for poor and underprivileged children and offering scholarships. She worked towards installing RO plants in rural villages in Telangana and also in various government women colleges in Shadnagar and other areas.

Education

Subhashini is a BSc and has done an MBA in HR. In 2011, she received a gold medal from Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad, for her excellence academic performance in Alternate Dispute Resolution and is now completing her LLB.

The utter number of piling legal cases especially in civil matters is another area of concern for Subhashini. Though provision of Indian justice system allows out of court settlements, in most cases, the advocates do not prefer ADR. She believes in a fast delivery judiciary process and feels that ADR mechanisms are the need of the hour.

Participating in political and social debates.

Her passion is to create awareness on social and political issues through media debates, expecting more matured democracy.

Political

She has been also working as state convener for International Relations, BJP Telangana, and has been giving her intellectual support in preparing party manifestos, organising seminars, round table conferences, etc. -(An advertorial)
