They need to be aware of the fact that they are wasting the taxes paid by even the hungry poor man.

The esteemed MPs are elected/nominated to the upper house to serve the interests of the people and the Nation to the best of their abilities with efficiency and honesty. They are servants to people and custodians of the wealth of the Nation. Do they have the right to waste the precious financial resources of the country which could have been spent to ameliorate the miserable living conditions of the distraught people living on the margins of society ?

They shouldn't forget that they are lawmakers for the country and have more responsibility than others in conducting themselves in an exemplary manner. The government should take all steps to prevent lawmakers from wasting the taxpayers' money in such an unabashed manner in future. Nobody is unaccountable for his/her actions in a democracy.
