Hyderabad: Mahindra Ecole Centrale to organise info session at Guntur
Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) College of Engineering is organising an Information Session for B.Tech aspirants in Guntur on Sunday.
Hyderabad: Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) College of Engineering is organising an Information Session for B.Tech aspirants in Guntur on Sunday. MEC will share details of admissions to the 4-year B.Tech programme at its Hyderabad campus for the academic batch 2020-2024 with prospective students and their parents.
The MEC Info session will be held at Hotel Sindoori, 4th Lane, Brodipet, Guntur,between 11 am and 12.30 pm. Dr. Aditya Abburi of the Electrical Engineering Department at Mahindra Ecole Centrale and Rakesh Sreedharan, Head – Admissions at Mahindra Ecole Centrale will address the session.
"Our focus is on creating awareness of different avenues available today to students when they choose engineering as a career. The session will showcase MEC and its very different, holistic education concepts of Engineering to students. Key aspects of education at MEC focus on multi-disciplinary knowledge, personality development, and critical-creative thinking", said Rakesh Sreedharan, Head – Admissions, Mahindra Ecole Centrale.
The aspirants and their parents will be taken through a comprehensive module that showcases the MEC differentiation. MEC focuses on an integrated curriculum that ensures that the student is privy to the best practices, learns through "doing" and has the best of the industry to mentor them. MEC's B.Tech is a globally appreciated programme that focuses on imparting industry relevant skills to students.
MEC has a total of 240 seats available in its B.Tech Programme - 60 each for the four courses offered - in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
Those students who have a 10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board with 60% aggregate marks in all subjects or equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved Board are eligible to apply for the seats. The admissions will be granted on the basis of either JEE Mains (Qualify in JEE Main examination: eligible to write the JEE Advanced 2020 exam) or SAT Subject Test scores (minimum 1800 in subjects which should include Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry).
