TMRS, Malkajgiri Girls-1 celebrated Minority welfare day on Monday on account of 131st birth anniversary of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad who was the first education minister of independent India.

TMRS, Malkajgiri Girls-1 celebrated Minority welfare day on Monday on account of 131st birth anniversary of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad who was the first education minister of independent India. M K Badruddin, TRS State Minority leader Incharge for Uppal constituency was the chief guest, Meka Lalitha, Telangana Mahila Jagriti Convenor, Medchal constituency and Shoba Goud , Mahila Division president ,Yapral were the guests of honour.

The programme began at 10.30am by students reciting the verses of the Quran and translating the same in English and Urdu. A few words were spoken on the biography and work of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad in Urdu, English and Telugu Languages. The

chief guest motivated and encouraged the students by his speech, and also stressed that how TMREIS is making a difference to achieve educational goals. The in-charge Principal Praveena spoke about the agenda of TMRS Malkajgiri. The event was continued with few cultural items and prizes were distributed to the students who secured highest marks in SA-1 and winners and participants of various events (SGF, State level and district level).

The programme came to an end with vote of thanks and national anthem. Lunch was arranged to students and parents followed by PTM.
