Mysuru: 'Our protest against the farm laws will continue until the Centre withdraws them', said Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha general secretary Hosakote Basavaraju here on Monday. He said, "Every single individual should understand the problem.

We should try and analyse why the farmers have been protesting for the last 10 months? Strangely, the central government is least bothered about anything. We compel them to withdraw the farm laws"Basavaraju said. "We have been demanding Minimum Support Price (MSP) for our crops but nothing has been done so far. Forget settling the issue, they are not bothered to call us for a meeting. That lakhs of farmers are protesting is in itself a major thing. Hotels can fix the price for the food but we can't fix MSP for our crops."

He said, "Narendra Modi belongs to one particular party. We pay 70 per cent of the taxes. Modi is out to privatise every sector in the country. The BJP government seems to be busy working for the capitalists. SKM's bandh call is without any motive. Modi should withdraw the farm laws or else, we will be forced to intensify our stir.
