Along with all these regular activities… People also became sexually adventurous… Yes! This has been proven by a survey as well! A new survey by 'Global sexual happiness brand' Lovehoney found that couples have been taking advantage of the stay-at-home period and spiced up their sex lives. According to the sources, more than 1,200 people took part in the online survey and 52% confirmed that they become sexually adventurous during the Coronavirus lockdown period. Even 76% of them doled out that they would keep it continued even after the lockdown period too.

Lovehoney also reports that 43% of respondents that means both couples and single people are using sex toys more frequently. Vibrators, dildos, male strokers, butt plugs and couples' love rings are the toys at the top of people's lists.

Coming to the US people, Floridians appear to have embraced any opportunity for sexy time (alone or with their partner) with a 14% increase in bedroom activity. At the same time, the West Coast, Californians had the greatest decrease (19%) in sex. While in Illinois, Texas, Pennsylvania, and New York people also reported less sex than before lockdown. It is completely opposite in Americans as not all couples took part and isolate together. Almost (24%) of people took part in this survey dole out that they were unable to see their partners due to stay-at-home or shelter-in-place orders, which created intimacy challenges for 63% of couples. At the same time, even the sex activities in young people also saw a downfall by 14% in the age group of 18-34, mainly as they are less likely to live together than older folks.

Speaking about the 35-plus age group, the survey doled out that, the situation is a little bit better in their age group. They enjoyed a 4% increase! It was not that easy to have a happy life as 44% of people said that they had made love more quietly as they don't want to disturb other people in the house. According to the press release note by Lovehoney, "Many couples are sexting and enjoying video sex sessions through FaceTime, Zoom and Skype to make the separation more bearable.

To come out of the stress that is created by the COVID pandemic, most of the people felt that sex as a stress reliever and this way they had got relieved from emotional pressure too. Nine out of ten (90%) people believe that it's a good stress reliever and (45%) said they're masturbating more than usual during the lockdown.

On the whole, Knight said, "it's great to see so many couples using sex as a way to boost happiness during the lockdown."
