Andhra Pradesh Elections 2024 LIVE Updates
After a high decibel campaign, including by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and top leaders of Congress and BRS, the stage is now set for polling on Monday to elect 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.
The Election Commission has made elaborate arrangements to conduct free and free and fair polls. Prominent leaders including Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, BJP state chief D Purandeswari and APCC president YS Sharmila are in the fray.
Hans India too has made arrangements for live updates of polls across the two states from Monday 9 am.

Polling stated on brisk note in Guntur district
Guntur Polling started on brisk pace across the district. Women, youth ,old age people reached the polling booths at 6.30 am. Serpentine queues were seen at polling booths set up at SKBM MCH School, Majety Guravaiah High School,TJPS College, Hindu College in Guntur city.
Youth and first time voters feeling happy for exercising their franchise.
A woman Srilatha said taking high day temperature into consideration , she along with her family members came to polling at 6.30.am.

At Visakhapatnam north constituency, EVM at booth number 14 developed a technical glitch.
Following which, the polling process took a while to continue.
Voters ended up waiting for a long time as a huge turnout was witnessed at the booth.
