Emisat, a great move
This is with regards to the news item ‘India to launch electronic intelligence satellite on April 1’ (THI, March 24)
This is with regards to the news item 'India to launch electronic intelligence satellite on April 1' (THI, March 24).
I am glad to hear that India on April 1 will launch an electronic intelligence satellite Emisat for the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) along with 28 third party satellites and also demonstrate its new technologies like three different orbits with a new variant of PSLV rocket.
Satellite launch vehicle rocket first put the 436 kg Emisat into a 749-km orbit.
Hope for the successful launch of this satellite and it is good to hear about the launch of two more defense satellites sometimes in July or August with new rocket Small Satellite Lite Launch Vehicle (SSLV).
