The cricket team for the India's World Cup 2019 squad is finally announced. With the selection of Dinesh Karthik as the wicketkeeper pipping Rishabh Pant was obvious owing to former's veteran status as determined by the chief of selectors who also happens to be a former wicket keeper.

The selection no doubt comes at a crucial stages of IPL tournament and will definitely steer away the enthusiasm of players who missed the team bus to England.

The number 4 spot is now reserved for the new boy Vijay Shankar otherwise speculated to send KL Rahul. The move seems to be an ideal step but the team has to only test its waters on international soil with tough playing conditions.

Hence the team needs to gear up its preparations well to acclimatise to international playing conditions, as with the exception of few senior players most of the young blood will now be rearing to go on the fields at England. The spinners pick of Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav will certainly help the team to keep the momentum up during the game between 30th and 50th overs.

However India will depart only with a heavy baggage owing to series of losses in previous international tours concluded recently and the last edition of World Cup held in Australia/New Zealand.

Indian team should now look ahead and make the best of the playing conditions available in their favours and progress ahead to gain a spot at least in the quarters/semis to in order to surge ahead for a spot in the last stage of the game.
