Osmania University: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) burnt the effigy of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, in front of Arts College here on Monday. They said he has to change his adamant attitude towards RTC workers.
They blamed him for the suicides of the RTC workers. They demanded him to have meeting with the agitators and to solve their problems. They also demanded an ex-gratia of Rs 50 lakh to the kin of the deceased RTC workers, Srinivas Reddy and Surender Goud. ABVP leaders Pagidipalli Hari, Kiran, Raghavender, Srisailam, Yellaswamy, Ramesh and others were present on the occasion.
