The roadsides of the Eshwaripuri Colony in Sainikpuri were filled with garbage including the dried tree leaves, food waste and other domestic waste. A cow was seen at site where a heap of garbage was dumped.

Srinivas Y, a resident of the area said, "We can hardly find any GHMC parks and playgrounds in this area. There are no proper parks and playgrounds where the children's can play and the senior citizens could relax for a while. Even if there are a few parks, the parks are mostly covered with this garbage all around.

The animals like Dogs and cows were seen having food from this waste. This can be very harmful for their health." "People have been throwing garbage in this area for a long time. The malodorous smell of the garbage is causing a lot of inconvenience to the residents and the pedestrians passing from the area. This has become a common issue in many areas of the cities." added, Srinivas.
