Hans News Service Saifabad: ‘Lasya Tandava - Puppet Ballet’ with Indian Dance forms - by a French Puppeteer Sabrina Arusham drew wide applause for its absorbing display of skills that went with a skit at Ravindra Bharathi here on Wednesday. It was a melange of colours, dance forms and light effects. Rangasthali in collaboration with Department of Language and Culture, organised the ‘Lasya Tandava – a Puppet Ballet’, with various dance forms, conceived and created by Sabrina Arusam. Indian traditional dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Perini, Cheriyal mask, Tandavam, etc., were shown through different techniques of puppetry. Through the puppets, the show created an illusion of the body movements, with different kinds of classical and folk Indian dance forms.
